The restaurant - Gastro Bar Sesonki - designed and built by AFA Arredamenti, is located in the K-CITYMARKET and is supervised by internationally renowned chef Matti Jämsen.
Jämsen was the Bocuse d'Or representative in Finland and has worked as a chef at Chez Domnique and other Michelin-starred restaurants. He was awarded Finnish Chef of the Year 2005 and elected Chef of Kokki at the Finnish Academy of Gastronomy in 2015.
Entering Sesonki Gastro Bar is an overwhelming sensation: you are immediately immersed in an environment with dark tones, but at the same time warm and welcoming.
Simple, clean lines and a design that combines the warmth of wood with the darker tones of the walls and ceilings.
Located in Järvenpää, a small town in southern Finland a few kilometres from Helsinki, Sesonki Gastro Bar combines a wide selection of wines and craft beers with sophisticated dishes.
It's no coincidence that Sesonki means season in Finnish: the raw materials come directly from the local market, which is located in the same building.
