Afa was founded in 1968 by the Francolini brothers.
Right from the beginning its main goals were hard work and concreteness. The company was called “Adria Frigo” and produced and sold only cabinets, refrigerators, refrigerating rooms and refrigeration products.
Soon the company developed and began to produce more and more things, and to give value to the design, production, and sale phases, evolving in a company specialized in producing complete furniture or pieces of furniture, where design, functionality, and technology match perfectly.
In the last decades, the upgrade and improvement process has never stopped. The new generation has worked since the beginning on strategic and operational plans, necessary to realize and achieve the aim of a careful and continuous expansion.
n these 50 years the company has maintained the trust and the respect of its clients and partners and we like to think that we have gained them day by day thanks to our dedication, our quality, and our ethics.

Today we design and realize furnishings and accessories to create unique settings for your bars, ice cream shops, pastry shops, restaurants, wine bars, pubs, clubs, disco bars, cinemas, theatres, bowling allies, theme parks, boutiques, showrooms, exhibition stands, motor home, hospitality, wellness, spas, beauty salons, hotels, residences, naval interior, housing.
We are very careful in maintaining the artisanship of our origin, but today the precision and mastery of our techniques are even more important, thanks to the use of modern and sophisticated machines.
AFA designs, produces, and installs: bespoke furniture, boiserie, moquette and parquetry, doors and frames, fabric accessories, upholstery, curtains, lightings, and accessories.
We follow the entire process that allow the realization of your locations: from material research to design and realization of furniture.
Our production cycle covers all areas: wood, metals, upholstery, fabric and lighting. In this way nothing is left to chance and we can control everything: design, materials, and execution quality.

Lighting
Lighting is a very important part of interior design. In fact, choosing the right lighting system allows the environment to be more comfortable. We work hard to choose a lighting able to satisfy customers’ needs and those of their locations, in order to facilitate all their working activities.
Fabrics
AFA Arredamenti is inspired by the textile tradition and offers different kinds of fabrics, especially flame retardant fabric for furnishings and homes. Different stages such us spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing characterize the productive process. Commitment and research and visual design studies allowed to achieve technological aims, combining fabrics quality, styling, and colors with safety and fashion.
Metals
In our factory, the traditional craft of blacksmith and the art of metalwork blend with innovative ideas and taste for design, creating original and unique realizations. Every piece is unique, the result of true craftsmen’s work, combining the mastery of manual labor with the support of modern technologies.
Wood
AFA Arredamenti realizes bespoke furnishings, matching the tradition of woodwork with the most modern technologies. In addition to the design and production of all kinds of furniture for homes and public places, AFA Arredamenti is able to create new spaces combining functionality and design.
Glass
Glass is the most used material in the furniture industry, because it matches perfectly with current interior design trends, offering elegant solutions and making locations spacious and luminous. Glass has become a fundamental material for the realization of furniture and accessories, thanks to its features of being transparent, shiny, and crystal clear. Refined and highly versatile, glass is able to enhance the design of every location, customizing and making it unique.
Upholsteries
For your clients’ comfort the best is never enough. This is the reason why AFA Arredamenti offers excellent upholstered chairs and sofas. Our exlusive items guarantee the maximum comfort and are the result of our craftsmanship. We have a large number of variants: from foam to the soft and refined combination of polyurethane foam and air cells. AFA upholstered furniture is fireproof and certified as per the classification of reaction to fire: 1 IM.
