Palchetto: a fantastic bistro café in the Esquilino district
Palchetto is a bistrot café located in front of the Rome Opera Theatre, in the Esquilino district.
The place is furnished with garish colors that alternate with grey and black.
The sitting area has black reflecting glass tables and fireproof sofas made with faux leather and lit by black chandeliers with irregular shapes.
This area is surrounded by two black bottlers with a cylindrical steel frame that embellish the walls.
The vaulted ceiling is grey-anthracite colored with lilac refinements, which recall the color of the unique wallpaper.
An original touch is given by the floor, decorated with a treble cief draw, that highlight the artistic concept of the place.
There is also a little private area, made with covered wainscoting walls and bright red sofas.
In the center of the place a painting grab the spotlight.
Palchetto is the right place to spend a nice break: it is a meeting point for romans but also for tourists that look for some relax time after a long day visiting around.
It is open all day long: from breakfast to lunch and until the happy hour.
