Welcoming and tasting in Marnate
EL MUNDO Cafè’s purpose was to show a different side of its own roasting shop, by restyling its brand and realizing two new areas: the Training Courses Room and the Tasting Room.
The project was developed by Studio SCA, Arch. Simone Colombo - project team Arch. Marzia Di Fini and realized by AFA Arredamenti: the choice of the used raw materials such as raw wood, natural painted black iron, white marble, cement effect stoneware, brass, and black marble communicates the elegance of the place and the quality of its products.
The Training courses Room was thought in order to train a young and qualified staff, giving it the right knowledge to being able to support customers in choosing the suitable products and the right equipment for their needs.
For this purpose a big convivial table was positioned at the center of the room, as the main space for learning, and also a raw wood and white marble counter that serves for demonstrations. The environment is characterised by the presence of the colour green, that reminds of the colour of the raw grain, and by circular lamps in polished copper.
The Tasting Room differs from the first one for the elegance of its large monolithic black marble counter. The wall behind the counter iwas realized with mirrored slats reflecting the surrounding space. The shelves and lamps are made of brass.
Cafè El mundo offers a contemporary and elegant atmosphere, where tradition and innovation reflect perfectly a brand that for over 70 years has been telling success coffee stories.
