DolceSalato Bistro born from the idea of the pastry chef Gabriele Spinelli and the restaurateur Mauro Stanzani, both appreciated experts under the “Due Torri”, to give a new life at the bakery “Colazione da Bianca” in Bologna.
DolceSalato Bistro is a modern and elegant concept, designed and realized by AFA Arredamenti: a place where delicious continental breakfasts are served since the early morning hours. For lunch and dinner they propose culinary delights and cocktails of the highest quality…a really gastronomic journey based on the pursuit of excellence.
The ambience is characterised by clean and modern lines, flamboyant lighting, comfortable seats and big surfaces dedicated to the wine-exposure, with a strong presence of local and foreign bubbly.
The place is divided in two levels: the first one separates from the main room to offer a quiet and secluded area on a raised platform, elegantly bounded by a black-iron banister with a vertical vegetal back wall that reaches a perfect harmony of colours and materials together with the black, the natural wood, the brass and the “tortora” (dove grey).
The DolceSalato Bistro’s most important technical and aesthetic element is the bar counter in marble Portoro, equipped with refrigerated display cases enriched with golden frames where the products are exhibited on two levels.
The back wall is fitted with a black iron structure with open compartments that serves for storing bottles, the same that are located elsewhere in the bistro to expose the sale products.
Big windows link the inside areas with the porch, where the outer area is equipped with tables and chairs.
